It is considered the best urban project in Lithuania
The author of the project is the architect Alvydas Pranas Steponavičius, anatomist Raimonda Augustienė. Separate areas are designed according to the age groups of park visitors, protecting against the noise of the city - artificially filled hills 3-4 meters high planted with chrysanthemums.
The main garden plaza - a ring near V. Krėvės Street - is designed for active leisure. 2009 Here is a children's playground, 2010 - Coaches. In the middle of the ring stands the "Raqqa" sculpture by sculptor Bruneus Zallins (1977), depicting a mother carrying a child. In the southern part of the park, near Taikos Avenue, there is a pond, in the eastern part - an alley with benches
