The English park (Landscape) was created in the western part of the city in the nineteenth century. In the first half, real estate owners Barons F. and E. Rönne. The southeastern part of the park is surrounded by the Minija River. The oldest trees in the city park date back more than 200 years. In the old part of the garden common birch and white poplar grow, linden with small leaves and large leaves, common chestnut, maple and other types of trees. The new part of the park descends to the picturesque Minija Valley, where many cultural events take place during the summer. The park is the most popular recreational area in Gargždai.
