This park contains about 100 maple trees in Montpellier, a very rare species in Tunisia. It also contains a few palms of Aleppo pine, crimson oak, Galil oak, and Atlantic cypress. Among these plants are many mammals, including the beige, jackal, fox, wild boar, mongoose, wild rabbit, hedgehog, eucalyptus gazelle, and especially the planus.
