It is a dense forest of various types of trees, the most important of which is the Atlantic Cedar Tree. These features made it classified as a national and international reserve and as one of the most important tourism poles in Algeria.
The national hanger of Tanniyat al-Hadd is a rock wrapped around each side of the pasture. Where it occupies an area of about 3424 hectares, about 50 km away from the state headquarters.
It is located in the south of the Atlas Mountains and extends between the mountains of the Winches and the Crocodile Mountains
The highest peak in the barn is 1786 m, the head of the prairies, while the lowest area is about 862 m and the average height is between 1550 m.
The wooded layer is represented by Atlantic cedus (cedus atlentica), a mixture of modern and ancient cedars, which represent 10 to 20% of the southern side of the barn, as well as the chêne liège and quercus ilex, which represents the wooded layer.
