Dainewell Park has previously been known by many different names and, prior to the Friends group taking action, was an under-developed area of green space. The Friends group have carried out a lot of consultation with local people and, following discussions with Trafford’s Greenspaces team and Red Rose Forest, have agreed a strategy and associated annual plans for the development of the park.
