The Park was created in the Victorian era, along with the building of Hare Hill House by a prominent local family, and sits snugly in the very heart of the Littleborough community.
The family beneficiaries sold the house and gardens to Littleborough UDC in 1900. Hare Hill Park is now owned and managed by the council.
