One of the UK gardens
This park is divided into two quite separate halves by Spencer Avenue. On one side of the road is a large triangular open grassed area, bordered by a beautiful avenue of trees, and overlooking the rear of King Henry VIII School. On the other side of the road is the smaller park. More formal in design, it is enclosed by hedging and has formal flower beds and lawns. In the summer this half hosts events such as the Bands in Park concerts.
