This magnificent park forms an idyllic setting for a Jacobean mansion, Aston Hall.
The park provides a backdrop of mature trees and shrubs, sweeping avenues and constantly changing planting schemes.
Aston Hall and park sit in the heart of Aston ward and are a focal point for community events, from Aston Pride to a mini Olympics for local school children.
Today's park is a remnant of Aston Hall's 934-acre deer park and forms the key formal areas surrounding the house. Many of the features visible in the park today have been created as part of the park improvements by the civic society in the 1930s.
Due to the park's importance in the city and country, the gardens have been registered on the Historic Parks Register.
