The park incorporates some notable earlier oak trees
Built features in the park include a 1930s drinking fountain and a pond backed by low walls with a fountain, a lodge and WC in brick and tile near the north entrance and brick piers and iron gates. The former sites of a number of small buildings are identifiable in the park.
