A round space at the top of the peninsula divides the area into a rest area and a play area. While the relaxation area extends in the direction of the tip of the headland and is equipped with benches, the play area merges into the adjacent meadow area to the center of the island.
The toddler sand play area and a lounge area, which is set up by a sitting wall and hornbeam hedges, have been laid out on the rondel. The hedges also serve as continuous protection to the near-shore zones. In addition, for reasons of safety, filigree fences have been inserted in the green areas to the east and west of the roundabout in order to prevent children from crossing the play areas to the water.
